What Is MicroMacro: Crime City – Showdown?

MicroMacro: Crime City – Showdown is a cooperative detective and deduction game for 1–4 players aged 12+, with games taking around 30 minutes. Designed by Johannes Sich, Showdown is a standalone entry in the award-winning MicroMacro: Crime City series.

The game challenges you to look closely at an enormous illustrated city map where hundreds of characters are going about their business. Somewhere among them are clues to crimes, robberies, murders and mysterious events.

How to Play

Choose one of the 16 criminal cases and read the introductory information. Your investigation begins on the giant Crime City map.

Use your detective skills to follow characters through the city, trace where they have been and work out what happened. A character seen in one location may appear somewhere else later, allowing you to reconstruct their movements and uncover important clues.

Use the included magnifying glass when you need to examine tiny details. Discuss your discoveries with the other investigators, connect the evidence and work out who is responsible.

Each case asks you to answer questions about the crime, its motive and the people involved. Solve the mystery together to complete the case.
