What Is Flamecraft Duals?

Set in the charming world of Flamecraft, Duals is a standalone abstract pattern-building game designed by Manny Vega with artwork by Sandara Tang.

Instead of managing a whole town, you and your opponent compete to create patterns with artisan dragons on a shared board. Some dragons even appear as rare dual-coloured Hydragons, giving you access to two different abilities.

How to Play

Players take turns drawing dragon tokens from the bag and placing them onto the central board. Each dragon type has a unique ability that can be fired up, allowing you to draw additional dragons or rearrange dragons already in play.

Your goal is to match groups of three dragons to the patterns shown on your secret Shop Cards. Complete the required pattern and you score the card.

As the board fills, you'll need to think ahead, manipulate the dragon layout and decide when to use powerful abilities. Once the dragons have been drawn, the player with the highest-value collection of Shop Cards wins.
