Were you the person who, when losing at Monopoly, may have sneakily taken a little "bonus" from the bank? Did you buy weighted dice for your DnD game? Did you put a card on top of a deck before dealing? If so, Cheating Moth if for you! Cheating is not only allowed, but encouraged. Drop cards on the floor, hide them in your pocket, put them up your sleeve! Just don't let the Guard Bug see - this player can call you out for cheating, and then you have to take a card from them! So be sneaky about it! Or, you can always fake it! If you're incorrectly called out, the Guard Bug has to take a card!
The main goal of the game is to get rid of your entire hand by playing it into the pile in the center. Each card has a number on it, and to play your number has to be one higher or lower than it. The game has Action cards that force a player to complete an action: Ants make everyone but the person who played it draw a card, cockroaches make everyone play an identically numbered card and only the fastest gets to keep it there. A mosquito has to be slapped, whoever is slowest gets a card from every other player and the Spider lets you give a card to another player!
Finally, there's the Cheating Moth. You can't play this (unless you're the guard) and have to cheat to get rid of it! Cheating Moth has been loved by people worldwide! How daring will you get with your cheats? Will you just sneakily drop it, or try and throw it at another player? Up the sleeve or over your shoulder? Maybe hide it in a bowl of snacks for the game? How dastardly can you be before you get caught?
