Pete's review of our first session

With none of the four of us quite knowing what to expect we stepped in to the void and braved outside!
What we actually did was stop playing bi-weekly Warhammer with just the four core peeps of Roll The Dice (Dave, Matt, Rob and Pete) round some ones house and invited others to come join in the shenanigans.
Dave and Matt had managed to secure us a space at Porthleven Public hall between Half 7 and 11pm on the 17th of May 2024. The date was set, the terrain was packed and ready to go.
We are very glad to report the event was a great success. With lots of new faces and some familiar ones from other gaming groups in the county.
Myself I bought a new face along in the form of George, or rather he bought me along (thanks for the lift again!) . George also brought game - Kill Team. I was sufficiently whipped as my Gellar pox infected squelched and exploded in a damp defeat.
The other tables finished up with all of the four core peeps losing their games to the newbies apart from Dave who got a win with his Dark Angels. We are doing it again in 2 weeks time 31st of May 7.30 - 11 at Porthleven Public Hall.
You should come if you can: first one is free and repeat visits are a fiver with drinks and snacks provided as part of the entrance fee. Come and support our C.I.C., play some games and meet some fellow table top enthusiasts.
Cheers,
Pete
